Yoasobi vinyl cover art
My favorite J-pop duo, Yoasobi, releases albums (The Book series) that transform novels into music. The way that they’ve honed their own artistic craft as a form of storytelling has inspired me to do the same in my own design work. As an homage to Yoasobi's artistic philosophy, I’ve integrated the style of their concept art (below) with this idea of storytelling in music within my own rendition of a vinyl cover (right).

When the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing, I was a junior in college looking for some new “quarantine-safe” hobbies, and so I picked up cocktail mixing. Pictured below is the mixology book I designed myself featuring my favorite drinks.
